Life Compass, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LuuL mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Email address and display name when you create an account.
Profile & Goal Information: Data you provide about your personal goals, habits, daily schedules, and self-assessed skill levels within the App.
Health & Wellness Data: Self-reported information related to your physical health, fitness activities, exercise habits, nutrition preferences, sleep patterns, mental wellness goals, and other health-related objectives that you provide through surveys, goal-setting, and daily activity tracking within the App.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, missions completed, and session duration, collected via Firebase Analytics (with your consent).
Crash Reports: Diagnostic data collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix issues.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.

Health Data Disclosure: LuuL is a self-improvement app that covers six life domains, including Health & Vitality. When you use health-related features, the App collects self-reported wellness information such as fitness goals, exercise preferences, nutritional habits, and activity completion data. This data is used exclusively to generate personalized AI-powered missions and to track your self-reported progress. We do not collect data from health sensors, wearable devices, or medical records. All health and wellness data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore and is never sold to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
Authenticate your account and keep it secure via Firebase Authentication.
Store your profile, goals, health & wellness data, and progress via Firebase Firestore.
Generate personalized AI-powered content, including missions, roadmaps, and creature companions, to support your growth across all life domains including health and fitness.
Analyze usage patterns to improve the App experience (with your consent).
Diagnose crashes and technical issues.

3. AI Content Generation

The App uses AI to generate personalized content such as creature companions, quests, skill roadmaps, and motivational guidance. This includes generating health and fitness-related missions based on your self-reported goals and preferences.

All AI content generation is performed server-side via Firebase Cloud Functions. Your device does not communicate directly with any third-party AI service. Data sent to OpenAI for content generation is processed through our secure server infrastructure and is not used by OpenAI to train their models.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Analytics (consent-gated), and Crashlytics.
OpenAI: AI content generation, accessed exclusively server-side via Cloud Functions.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data — including health and wellness data — to third parties. We only share data with the third-party service providers listed above as necessary to operate the App. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data — including health and wellness data — at any time by contacting us at david@lifecompassllc.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure server infrastructure, Firebase security rules restricting data access to authenticated account owners, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Analytics Consent: You can enable or disable analytics data collection at any time from Settings within the App. Crashlytics remains enabled for app stability regardless of analytics preference.
Data Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
Data Correction: You may update your profile and goal information at any time within the App.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
