Privacy Policy

1. Information LuuL handles

• Account information: your email address, display name, account identifier, and authentication records.
• Profile and goal information: the goals, routines, preferences, availability, check-ins, mission activity, chapter progress, and other content you choose to provide.
• Sensitive information you choose to enter: self-reported health and wellness information and self-reported financial information. LuuL does not connect to medical records, health sensors, bank accounts, or payment accounts.
• Technical information: app version, device and operating-system details, security signals, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
• Optional analytics: product-usage events are collected only after you enable analytics in the app.

2. How information is used

We use information to authenticate your account, sync your progress, generate and organize personalized actions, operate security and cost controls, troubleshoot failures, respond to support requests, and improve LuuL when you have chosen to share analytics.

Firebase Crashlytics is separate from optional analytics. Crashlytics may receive linked diagnostic information, including your Firebase account identifier, so we can investigate crashes and reliability problems.

3. Sensitive-data boundaries

Raw pasted plan text is used only to stage the review flow and is purged after approval, cancellation, or a failed import. Approved plan structure may be saved, but the raw pasted plan text is not retained as the plan record.

LuuL does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising trackers.

4. AI-assisted features

Some LuuL features use OpenAI through server-side services to help structure plans or generate personalized content. The app does not place the OpenAI API key on your device.

API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default. Under OpenAI's standard abuse-monitoring controls, content may be retained for up to 30 days. We limit what is sent and exclude fields that are not needed for the requested feature.

AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain in control of what you approve, keep, change, or set aside.

5. Service providers

We use Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, cloud functions, app attestation, optional analytics, and crash diagnostics. We use OpenAI for the AI-assisted features described above. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us under their applicable terms.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active and as needed to operate LuuL. Shorter retention rules apply to temporary generation jobs and other operational records.

You can start account deletion inside the app at You > Privacy & data > Delete Account. The server removes your authentication account and account-owned cloud data. The app also clears local account data.

After deletion, a short-lived opaque deletion marker may remain for up to 24 hours to prevent stale devices from silently recreating the deleted account. It does not contain your email, goals, or plan content.

7. Your choices

• Enable or disable optional analytics from the app's privacy settings.
• Edit profile, goal, plan, and progress information through the available app controls.
• Ask for access to or correction of personal information by contacting support.
• Delete your account in the app or request help through the deletion page.

8. Security and eligibility

We use encrypted transport, account-scoped access controls, app attestation, server-side entitlement checks, bounded generation jobs, and operational monitoring. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

LuuL is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

9. Contact and policy changes

Life Compass, LLC may update this policy as LuuL changes. We will post the effective date here and provide additional notice when required.
